We know that some people wish to help our society by rescuing cats from the streets, but we are just a café that fosters cats rescued by The Feline Foundation until they get adopted.
To meet and spend time with the kitties in the Cat Area, the entry fee is Rs. 200 per person/per hour.
All the proceeds from the from the cafe goes into caring for our special needs and senior cats!
No reservations are required before visiting the café. You can simply walk in during the café’s operational hours.
All the cats in the cat area are rescued special needs, domesticated cats. These cats were rescued from varying degrees of medical distress by our NGO unit, The Feline Foundation (TFF).
Due to these medical conditions, if left outside, they will be unable to survive on the streets as they do not have the survival skills for it, but are healthy and abled cats who have a lot of love and companionship to offer. Therefore, they come to Cat Café Studio to get a second shot at happily ever after by getting adopted into loving homes.
Most people with allergies do live with their feline friends. Some who only have mild symptoms just put up with the symptoms or treat them with over-the-counter medicine.
Though the cafe will have generic allergy medication, but if you are someone who suffers from allergies, we expect you to make an informed decision before stepping into the Cat Area.
Though Cat Café Studio does not offer Cat Fostering or Sitting services, we know some great, well vetted hoomans that do for reasonable compensation!

Cats
There will be approximately 15-25 cats and kittens in the Cat Café Area at any given time, all available for adoption.
Yes. The cats have their own room where they can go to if they wish, which is separated by a cat door. They do not have to be in the café should they choose not to.
The CCS hoomans make sure that every cat is being monitored and looked after incase they want some alone, distressing time away from the other cats and humans!
Our cats are on a strict balanced diet as recommended by our veterinarian, no outside food can be fed.
We do occasionally spoil them with treats, incase you see a CCS hooman giving the kitties treats, you can always ask for a little to hand the kitties yourself! But as it’s all regulated and to avoid upset cat tummies, don’t be surprised if the hoomans say politely deny your request.
All our inhabitants are rescued, senior and special need stray cats!
All the cats regularly vaccinated, dewormed, sterilized and are physically fit before being left to play in the cat area.
We assume that anybody entering the cat area understands the risk of scratch or nip associated with cats and will takes steps to minimize such risks (following all our house rules).
There is a first aid kit available on site. Please ask the animal supervisor in the café for assistance.
All that being said, you are choosing to enter a room with cats therefore we are not liable for any cat related injuries.
Cats sleep an average of 15 hours a day, and some can sleep up to 20 hours in a 24 hour period!
The first thing you should realize is that cats are most active between dusk and dawn, which means that they sleep mostly during the day and become active around twilight.
First and foremost,
Step 1 – To a rescue process is to take the rescued animal to a nearby Veterinarian immediately as most of the animals on streets are either hurt, malnutritioned or in trauma. Immediate medical attention might be required.
Step 2 – Foster the cat/dog at home till it gets better and shows signs of being healthy and well. A round of vaccinations would be the next best step; post which you could start approaching Animal NGOs around your area (please Google for the list) and seek assistance for adoption.
Animal NGOs across the nation are overloaded with stray animal cases so there is a good chance they might not be able to address to your case immediately. Nevertheless they will be able to post your cats/dogs pictures on various adoption portals to spread the word.
There are also many online portals where you can post the pictures of your rescued cat/dog to find potential adopters.
The process of rescue might seem long and tedious but its vital that you take the initiative to see through the entire process as opposed to expecting NGOs/Animal Organisations to assist you immediately.
We do not allow visitors’ cats in the cat area due to health and safety concerns. Cats are territorial by nature and bringing your cats into a new premise might stress them. Also, Cat Café Studio is strictly for cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.
Yes, all cats in the cat area have been timely vaccinated.
Our cats have a healthy and balanced diet of both wet food and dry food, as recommended by our Veterinarian.
No. Our cats are not kept in cages unless advised bed rest by our vet due to health reasons or asked to be kept in isolation due to contagious infections.
All the cats are at Cat Café Studio are sterilised or are sterilised, when they are 4-6 months of age.
Adoption
Most of Cat Café Studio’s cats have been rescued from extreme conditions and have a traumatic history of abuse, injury or abandonment. We want to ensure that they do not go back into any of those situations, so our number one priority is their well-being.
By asking questions, conducting interviews, and taking you through our adoption manual. This adoption process not only helps us
determine that you are fit to adopt, but also helps you as an adopter to clear any questions or doubts you may have before adopting!
The process is also to help equip you with all the knowledge you
will need to be a great pet-parent.
No, we don’t. Cat Café Studio is a place for rescued cats from the streets. There is a massive stray population of animals on the streets of India who are looking for loving homes. Adoptions help
saves lives! When a stray animal from an organization like ours or an NGO is adopted, you not only provide that animal a second chance at life but also open up a space in these organizations to help
another one!
Adoption also helps break the cycle of buying and breeding animals, who are in most often than not come from cruel and unethical practices.
No, we do not charge any fees for adoption.
We do not permit cats under the age of 3 months and below to be adopted, as they are too young to be vaccinated. Vaccinations are under the discretion of our vet, and only cats who have a clean bill
of health will be up for adoption.
Thank you for your generosity and love for our cats here at Cat Café Studio, it really means a lot to us and our kitties!

also our adoption process.
But here are compulsory requirements you must meet to adopt a cat from Cat Café Studio –

2. If you are renting the place, you will need to have your landlord’s permission
3. You will need to get your windows and balcony meshed, to cat-proof your home
