Frequently Asked Questions
Café
The Cat area is a completely separate from the café kitchen section.
There is no dedicated parking for the café, but there is usually plenty of street parking nearby.
All of our guests under 15 must come with a parent, legal guardian, or supervisor. The parents/guardians must ensure that the house rules are being followed at all times by the children. We do not provide daycare service and we do require that someone provides supervision to their minor. Kittens are tiny and can be easily over looked by young children. This is dangerous for both the child and the cats. When cats get stressed they are very unhappy and become ill or act out to protect themselves.
No, we do not serve any kind of alcohol.
Card Payments (VISA or MASTER), PayTM, PhonePe, Gpay, Zomato Gold are accepted at Cat Café Studio.
Unfortunately no you cannot. We do not accept cats from individuals or organisations. We are not an animal hospital, animal shelter or a NGO. We do not cater to public requests of rescuing and fostering cats. We know that some people wish to help our society by rescuing cats from the streets, but we are just a café that fosters cats rescued by The Feline Foundation until they get adopted.

In our experience, larger groups of people who know each other tend to be louder in general and the noise upsets the cats and negatively impacts the experience of the cats and the guests. We have limited the size of the groups to try and avoid upsetting the cats. If you’re interested in booking for a larger group size, please contact us to learn more about our private events.
No reservations are required before visiting the café. However, if the cat area is full then we have the café area for occupancy and we will get you access to the cat area once a table gets free.
An Access Control System is operated on our main Cat Café door. This provides security by giving us control over who is allowed to open and close the door.
Unlike most cat cafés across the world, Cat Café Studio does not charge an entry fee for visiting our beloved felines.
An order of a coffee from our café section is essentially treated as an entry fee. However, you could sit and relish your drinks and cakes in the café section first and then enter the cat area and have a fine time with the cats.
We imagine that people with allergies know their situations well enough to make an informed decision as to whether or not the cat café experience is right for them.
Cats

There will be approximately 15-25 cats and kittens in the Cat Café Area at any given time, all available for adoption.
People that opt to enjoy their meal in the café area have nothing to worry about. As for anybody who wants to bring their drinks or food into the cat area, will be responsible for keeping an eye on it.
Yes. The cats have their own room where they can escape to if they wish, which is separated by a cat door. They do not have to be in the café should they choose not to.
We maintain a balanced diet for the cats and no outside food can be fed. You can however buy treats from the counter, but there is a limited quantity per day. Please ask the animal supervisor before you purchase to avoid any confusion.
All our inhabitants are rescued stray cats, duly vaccinated and physically fit before being left to play in the cat area.
We assume that anybody entering the cat area understands the risk of scratch or nip associated with cats and will takes steps to minimise such risks (following all our house rules). There is a first aid kit available on site. Please ask the animal supervisor in the café for assistance. All that being said, you are choosing to enter a room with cats therefore we are not liable for any cat related injuries.
Cats sleep an average of fifteen hours a day, and some can sleep up to twenty hours in a twenty-four hour period. The first thing you should realize is that cats are most active between dusk and dawn, which means that they sleep mostly during the day and become active around twilight.

First and foremost, Step 1 to a rescue process is to take the rescued animal to a nearby Veterinarian immediately as most of the animals on streets are either hurt, malnutritioned or in trauma. Immediate medical attention might be required. Step 2, foster the cat/dog at home till it gets better and shows signs of being healthy and well. A round of vaccinations would be the next best step; post which you could start approaching Animal NGOs around your area (please Google for the list) and seek assistance for adoption.
Animal NGOs across the nation are overloaded with stray animal cases so there is a good chance they might not be able to address to your case immediately. Nevertheless they will be able to post your cats/dogs pictures on various adoption portals to spread the word. There are also many online portals where you can post the pictures of your rescued cat/dog to find potential adopters. The process of rescue might seem long and tedious but its vital that you take the initiative to see through the entire process as opposed to expecting NGOs/Animal Organisations to assist you immediately.
Actually, we do not allow visitors’ cats in the cat area due to health and safety concerns. Cats are territorial by nature and bringing your cats into a new premise might stress them. Also, Cat Café Studio is strictly for cats and kittens looking for their forever homes.

Adoption

As you may or may not be aware, most of Cat Café Studio’s cats have been rescued from extreme conditions and have a traumatic history of abuse, injury or abandonment. We want to ensure that they do not go back into any of those situations, so our number one priority is their well-being. By asking questions, conducting interviews, and taking you through our adoption manual, we get a pretty good idea if you are truly a serious and potential adopter.

No we don’t. Cat Café Studio is a place for rescued cats from the streets. Our mission is to care for rescued cats, foster them with the best medical care and then find forever homes for them. We discourage people from buying breed cats when there is a massive stray population of animals on the streets of India that can find loving homes. Cats on the streets are no different from any breed cat you may be attracted to buy.
No, we do not charge any fees for adoption.
We do not permit cats under the age of 3 months and below to be adopted, as they are too young to be vaccinated. Vaccinations are under the discretion of our vet, and only cats who have a clean bill of health will be up for adoption.
